Councillor Carolyn Curr is a long-standing Conservative member of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, representing the Belmont Ward. She is the leader of the Conservative group within the council and has been actively involved in local government for over two decades. Cllr Curr plays an integral role in shaping council policies, especially in areas related to corporate governance, health, and community well-being. She serves on various committees, including the Corporate Parenting Board and the Adults, Wellbeing & Health Scrutiny & Improvement Committee.
She is also a member of the South Tees Development Corporation Board, contributing to one of the UK's most significant economic regeneration projects aimed at driving industrial growth and creating jobs in the Tees Valley area.
