South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust shines with its A&E performance. Simon Clarke MP asked for the most recent data on the proportion of patients who are seen in under four hours, and it shows how our area is not only consistently exceeding the target 95%, it is leading the way across the country.
You can see the red patch last winter during the flu outbreak and severe weather, but even then 90% of patients were being seen in less than four hours. The record additional funding announced this summer will help to build on this progress.
This strong performance is a huge tribute to the hard work and dedication of our doctors, nurses and NHS staff, and I know from speaking to thousands of constituents just how highly regarded they are by all of us. Thank you
