South Tees Conservatives wish to express our support and condolences to all those who have suffered loss during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Many of our local MPs, Councillors and members have been actively supporting community relief efforts during these very difficult times.
As the lockdown eases and society emerges into a 'new normal' STCA recently embraced modern technology to hold our AGM online, offering members the chance to choose a new leadership team and also hear from, and question, our two local MPs, Simon Clarke and Jacob Young.
Despite initial worries about the technology, the systems held up well and AGM business and discussions were conducted effectively in a safe, secure and friendly virtual setting.
We all hope that the pandemic is defeated soon and we can all enjoy the freedoms we once took for granted. Hopefully next year we will be back to normal and gathering together for our AGM. But just in case, and in the meantime, technology does offer us new ways to get together, socialise and conduct business safely in a virtual setting, and further events are planned. Why not join us and help to shape the future of the South Tees area and the UK as a whole.
