Councillor Dennis Teasdale passed away peacefully at Redcar Community Hospital surrounded by his close family. Councillor Teasdale was the elected member for Guisborough since 2015 serving on Guisborough Town Council since 2010
He served as Mayor for Redcar and Cleveland from 2018 to 2019. Dennis was a popular Mayor he was always able to reach out across the party political spectrum because of his innate integrity. no one could doubt that his intentions were always honourable and his heart was always in the right place. He executed his duties as Mayor with humility and dignity and was priviledged to represent the Borough of Redcar and Cleveland
